BEOGRADSKA TVRĐAVA – UČITELJICA ISTORIJE SA NAJLEPŠIM POGLEDOM U EVROPI

Beogradska tvrđava na Kalemegdanu je polazna tačka svakog turiste koji dođe u Beograd. Prelep pogled na ušće Save u Dunav, Vojni muzej, spomenik Pobednik i Crkva Ružica samo su neke od znamenitosti koje se mogu videti u okviru ove tvrđave. Ova tvrđava je jedno od onih mesta koja vas mogu naterati da nakon jednog pogleda na nju pročitate i potrudite se da saznate celu njenu istoriju, koja je veoma interesantna.

Podignuta je u periodu između prvog i osamnaestog veka. Nakon podele Rimskog carstva u četvrtom veku, pripala je Istočnom rimskom  carstvu i nosila je naziv Singidon. Iako nije odolela napadima Huna, Beogradska tvrđava obvnovljena je za vreme vizantijskog cara Justinijana. Tokom godina pretrpela je dosta razaranja i obnavljanja, a u devetom veku bila je izgrađena od belog kamena, po kojem je grad dobio ime koje i danas nosi – Beograd.

Car Dušan i knez Lazar nikada nisu uspeli da je zauzmu, iako su pokušavali. Međutim, za vreme vladavine despota Stefana Lazarevića, potpisuje se ugovor kojim se ona pripaja srpskoj despotovini. Dve godine kasnije, 1405. Beograd prvi put postaje prestonica Srbije.

Ukoliko želite da vidite ostatke rimskog kastruma, vizantijske, austrijske, i osmanske gradnje iz srednjeg veka, Kulu Nebojša, Despotovu kulu koja je izgrađena u godini kada je ovaj grad postao prestonica ili Beogradsku sahat-kulu, ne smete preskočiti razgledanje Kalemegdanske tvrđave.

Belgrade fortress at Kalemegdan is the starting point for every tourist who comes to Belgrade. Belgrade fortress was built between the first and the eighteenth centuries. After the division of the Roman Empire in the fourth century, it belonged to the Eastern Roman Empire and was named Singidon. Although the fortress did not resist the attacks by Hun, the Belgrade fortress was rebuilt during the Byzantine Emperor Justinian. During the years it suffered a lot of destruction and renewal, and in the ninth century it was built of white stone, after which the city got the name it still carries – Belgrade.

Although they were trying, Serbian emperor Dusan and Prince Lazar never succeeded in conquering this fortress. However, during the rule of the despot Stefan Lazarevic, he signed the contract by which Belgrade fortress belongs to the Serbian despot state. Two years later, in 1405, Belgrade became the capital of Serbia for the first time in history.
