In the following series of articles, we will discover locations that Novi Sad will show you in the best light, places that you will definitely want to visit again and that you will fall in love with! This city gives each of us everything we want!

The Church of the Transfer of the Relics of Saint Nicholas is the smallest building of the SPC in Novi Sad. It was built in the first half of the 18th century and is located in Nikola Pašića Street.

This church is also known as Nedeljko’s church after Nedeljko Bogdanović, who is most responsible for its construction. It was built in the old Russian imperial style with gilded domes that immediately catch the eye.

The temple was bombed twice, and with a great action of the people, it managed to rise. All documents were destroyed during the first bombardment, so there are no traces of the exact origin of the temple.

The most interesting information about this holy place is certainly that the children of the famous world scientist Albert Einstein, whose wife was Mileva Marić from Novi Sad, were baptized there.
