U Karađorđevoj ulici u Knjaževcu nalazi se Zavičajni muzej. U sastavu Zavičajnog muzeja Knjaževac su i Muzej grada u kući Ace Stanojevića i Arheo-etno park.
U zgradi iz 1906. godine u strogom centru grada, izdvaja se jedinstvena zbirka u svetu, a to je Muzej dvopređenih vunenih čarapa Timoka. Ove čarape sa raznim motivima, simbolima i šarama rađene su u periodu od 18. do 20. veka. karakteristični element narodne nošnje u okolini Knjaževca.
U okviru Zavičajnog muzeja nalaze se i Muzej grada u kući Alekse Ace Stanojevića, arheološko nalazište Timacum Minus i Arheo-etno park Ravna. U okviru parka Ravna nalaze se Muzej vina Lapidarijum.
Spomenik kulture Srbije, zaostavština je Vidosave i Svetozara Popovića. U muzeju se održavaju kulturni događaji, muzičke, književne večeri, različita predavanja, itd. Zavičajni muzej Knjaževac, na putu ka unapređenju pristupačnosti svojih programa i sadržaja, izradio je niz materijala na Brajevom pismu.
