Narodna biblioteka “Njegoš” Knjaževac je javna ustanova sa misijom da podstakne razvoj pismenosti. Biblioteka se nalazi u zgradi Doma kulture i rasprolaže fondom od oko 70.000 knjiga.

Knjige su smeštene na 1500 polica, oko 10.000 knjiga namenjeno je deci i mladima, a najstarija knjiga u biblioteci je Vukov “Srpski rječnik” iz 1852. godine.

U fondu biblioteke se može pronaći za svakog po nešto od beletristike, zavičajne zbirke, literature za decu i mlade, kao i naučnu i popularnu literaturu.

Misija biblioteke jeste da obezbedi informacije, izvore za učenje i usavršavanje, kao i da čuva i promoviše znanja o zavičaju. Bibliotečki fondovi su raznovrsni i zadovoljavaju potrebe korisnika. U biblioteci postoji i digitalna zbirka od 2009. godine i ima 53.000 zapisa.

Sve prostrorije su opremljene i čitaocima može obezbediti da na miru čitaju pasuse svoje omiljene knjige.
