“Dobro došli u Zemun”: Spomenik Sibinjanin Janku

U serijalu tekstova “Dobro došli u Zemun” koji slede predstavićemo Vam lokacije koje u Zemunu, koje nikoga do sada nisu ostavile ravnodušnim. Ova opština nudi sve što čoveka zanima počevši od istorijskih građevina i ličnosti, noćni život, prelepu arhitekturu, čak i skrivene delove na prvi pogled neistražene, i jednostavno, svoj jedinstveni duh.

Ovaj spomenik poklon je Mađarske u čast čuvenog vojkovođe Janoša Hunjadija, u narodu poznatijeg kao Sibinjanin Janko. Postavljen je na obeležavanju godišnjice btke za beograd koja je vođena davne 1456.godine protiv Otomanskog carstva.

Na ovu ideju vlada je došlo kako bi se proširila svest o prijateljstvu dva naroda pa je spomenik postavljen 22. jula 2019, a tom prilikom prisustvovali su predsednici Mađarske Janoš Ader, i Srbije Aleksandar Vučić.

Ištvan Madaraši je tvorac spomenika za koji se smatra da je simbol borbe u kojoj je Evropa spašena od daljeg prodora Turaka.

This monument is a gift from Hungary in honor of the famous warlord Janos Hunjadi, popularly known as Janko Sibinjani. It was installed to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Belgrade, which was fought in 1456 against the Ottoman Empire.

The government came up with this idea in order to spread awareness of the friendship between the two nations, so the monument was erected on July 22, 2019, and the presidents of Hungary, Janos Ader, and Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, were present on that occasion.

Istvan Madarashi is the creator of the monument, which is considered to be a symbol of the struggle in which Europe was saved from the further penetration of the Turks.
