Novobeogradski Blok 23 postao je poznat i u Njujorku! Naime, Muzej moderne umetnosti u Njujorku ovrstio je arhitekturu zgrada iz ovog kraja u stalnu postavku!
Ovaj deo Novog Beograda izgrađen je 1974. godine i smatra se ikonom brutalističke arhitekture. Gradila su ga u to vreme najjača građevinska preduzeća, ,,Ratko Mitrović” i ,,Napred”.
Odlukom Vlade Republike Srbije proglašen je 2021. za kulturno dobro prostorno kulturno-istorijske celine, i ona je po površini najveća zaštićena celina u Srbiji. Nalazi se u blizini Sava centra i železničke stanice Novi Beograd sa druge strane.
Zbog fasadnih rešenja ovih zgrada koje izgledaju kao rešetka u stručnim krugovima nazvan je betonskim barokom.

Block 23 of Novobeograd became famous in New York! Namely, the Museum of Modern Art in New York has made the architecture of buildings from this region a permanent exhibit! This part of New Belgrade was built in 1974 and is considered an icon of brutalist architecture. It was built by the strongest construction companies at the time, “Ratko Mitrović” and “Napred”. By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in 2021 it was declared a cultural property of the spatial cultural-historical entity, and it is the largest protected entity in Serbia in terms of surface area. It is located near the Sava center and the Novi Beograd train station on the other side. Because of the facade solutions of these buildings, which look like a grid, it is called concrete baroque in expert circles.
