KONAK KNEGINJE LJUBICE – KAKO JE IZGLEDAO ŽIVOT U BEOGRADU U 19. VEKU?

Knez Miloš Obrenović još 1830. godine podigao je ovaj konak za svoju ženu kneginju Ljubicu i njihove sinove Milana i Mihalila. Međutim, kako se nalazi  u blizini Kalemegdanske tvrđave, koja je u to vreme još uvek bila pod turskom vlašću, knez nije mnogo vremena provodio u ovom Konaku.

Konak je postao rezidencija porodice Obrenović tek za vreme kneza Mihaila. Nakon kraja vladavine dinastije Obrenović, u ovom Konaku nalazila se Prva beogradska gimnazija. Nakon gimnazije, na ovom mestu nalazio se Apelacioni sud, a zatim i Zavod za vaspitavanje gluvoneme dece. Iako se posle toga na ovom mestu nalazilo nekoliko muzej, pa i Patrijaršiha

Konak kneginje Ljubice kao takav postoji tek od 1979. godine i predstavlja spomenik kulture od izuzetnog značaja. U Konaku se nalaze originalni predmeti koji su pripadali porodici Obrenović. Osim toga, ukoliko posetite ovaj Konak moće ćete da vidite kako su živele bogate porodice u 19. veku u Srbiji.

U Konaku kneginje Ljubice nalazi se i veliki broj umteničkih predmeta i dela iz tog razdoblja. Smešten u samom centru grada, u ulici u kojoj se nalazi i Saborna crkva. Zbog svega toga, ovaj muzej je pravo mesto za sve koji prvi pu dolaze u Beograd i koji žele da osete atmosferu ovog grada ali i Srbije iz devetnaestog veka.

 

RESIDENCE OF PRINCESS LJUBICA – THE LIFE OF BELGRADE PEOPLE IN THE 19TH CENTURY

In 1830, Prince Miloš Obrenović raised this residence for his wife, Princess Ljubica, and their sons Milan and Mihalilo. However, as it is located near the Kalemegdan fortress, which at that time was still under Turkish empire, the Prince didnt spend much time in this residence.

This place became the residence of the Obrenović family during the time of Prince Mihailo. After the end of the rule of the Obrenovic dynasty, this place was the First Belgrade Gymnasium. After the gymnasium, there was an Appellate Court in this place, and then the Institute for the Education of Deaf Children. After that, this residence was converted into several museums and the Patriarchy.

The residence of Princess Ljubica as such exist since 1979 and represents a cultural monument of exceptional significance. There are original items belonging to the family Obrenovic ih this Residence. In addition, if you visit this Konak, you will see how rich families lived in the 19th century in Serbia.

There is also a large number of artificial objects from that period in the Residence of Princess Ljubica. It is located in the city center, in the street where is the Cathedral Church. Because of that, this museum is the right place for all who come to Belgrade and who want to feel the atmosphere of this city, but also to feel life in Serbia in the nineteenth century.
